Wings with Blue Cheese


What You'll Need

  • 20 chicken wings, tips removed and cut on drumette and mid joint
  • olive oil spray
  • 1 Cup hot chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 100gm firm blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup Praise Deli Style Creamy Roasted Garlic
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Praise Deli Style Ranch dressing
  • ½ cup hot chilli sauce
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • ¼ cup maple syrup

What to Do

  1. Prepare Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce: Mix blue cheese, 1 cup Praise Deli Style Ranch dressing, ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder, ½ tsp caster sugar, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar and sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste then refrigerate.
  2. Prepare Chilli Ranch Dipping Sauce: Mix 1 cup Praise Deli Style Creamy Roasted Garlic dressing, ½ cup hot chilli sauce, zest of 1 lemon, ¼ cup maple syrup, and sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste then refrigerate.
  3. Pat dry the chicken with a paper towel and arrange on a wire rack over a foil lined baking tray. Refrigerate uncovered for at least 3 hours to dehydrate skin.
  4. Preheat oven to 220˚C. Spray the chicken on all sides with olive oil and roast for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and turn the chicken pieces before spraying again and roast for a further 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the marinade ingredients: Mix 1 cup hot chilli sauce, tbsp sea salt, tbsp onion powder, tbsp garlic powder and pepper in a serving bowl. Coat this over chicken wings.
  6. Serve with the dipping sauces.
