Heirloom Tomato Caprese Salad with Italian Dressing
A striking but simple salad of mixed tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and our Italian dressing
What You'll Need
heirloom tomatoes, all shapes and colours
buffalo mozzarella (bocconcini if unavailable)
Praise Italian Dressing
torn basil leaves
crusty bread to serve
What to Do
Chop, slice and quarter the tomatoes in no particular way and season well with salt and pepper. Leave to stand for 5 minutes
Tear the buffalo mozzarella into bite sized pieces and season only with pepper. If using regular bocconcini you may need to add salt.
Arrange tomatoes on a plate with the cheese and drizzle with Italian dressing. Sprinkle basil on top and serve with crusty bread.
