Heirloom Tomato Caprese Salad with Italian Dressing

A striking but simple salad of mixed tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and our Italian dressing

What You'll Need

  • 1½ kg heirloom tomatoes, all shapes and colours
  • 400g-500g buffalo mozzarella (bocconcini if unavailable)
  • ¼ cup Praise Italian Dressing
  • 1 cup torn basil leaves
  • crusty bread to serve

What to Do

  1. Chop, slice and quarter the tomatoes in no particular way and season well with salt and pepper. Leave to stand for 5 minutes
  2. Tear the buffalo mozzarella into bite sized pieces and season only with pepper. If using regular bocconcini you may need to add salt.
  3. Arrange tomatoes on a plate with the cheese and drizzle with Italian dressing. Sprinkle basil on top and serve with crusty bread.
