Crispy Hasselback Potatoes with Aioli

A delicious topping of Praise Deli Style Aioli with ham and spring onions makes these baked potatoes something special.

 

Praise Tip: You can save time by microwaving the sliced potatoes in place of baking in step 1 (microwave for 10-12 minutes).


What You'll Need

  • 3 slices tasty cheddar cheese
  • 6 large Désirée potatoes, cleaned
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Olive oil (to drizzle)
  • 6 tbsp Praise Deli Style Aioli
  • ½ cup chopped ham, cooked
  • Sliced spring onions (to serve)

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Make about 10 cuts through each potato without cutting all the way through. Place potatoes on a lined baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and garlic. Bake for 40 minutes or until tender.
  2. Meanwhile heat a fry pan over medium heat, add a little olive oil and fry ham until lightly brown.
  3. Place squares of cheddar cheese into a few of the potato cuts and return to oven until cheese has melted. Allow to cool, then top with aioli. Sprinkle with ham and shallots and serve.
