CHARGRILLED SMOKED PAPRIKA STEAK SANDWICHES


What You'll Need

  • olive oil
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp picked thyme leaves
  • sea salt and fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 x 400g sirloin steaks
  • Gruyere cheese, sliced
  • Helga‚Äôs Mixed Grain Bread
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 baby cos lettuce
  • Praise Deli Style Caramelised Onion Mayonnaise
  • Dill pickles

What to Do

  1. Combine 2 tbsp of olive oil with paprika, thyme and salt and pepper in a bowl. Toss through steaks and marinate for 10 minutes. Cook steaks on high, 4 minutes per side. Remove and top each with Gruyere cheese.
  2. Toast 8 bread slices on the BBQ with olive oil.
  3. Slice the cheese topped steaks and divide over the 4 sandwiches, with layers of cos lettuce, tomato and a generous squeeze of Praise Deli Style Caramelised Onion Mayonnaise. Top toasted sandwich and serve with pickles.
