Ginger gives added flavour to marinated steak and makes this salad a perfect summer meal.
What You'll Need
2 x 300gsirloin steaks
½ cupPraise Deli Style Honey and Dijon Mustard Vinaigrette
5cmpiece fresh ginger, peeled and cut into thin matchsticks
200gbaby spinach leaves
4celery stalks, washed and cut into 2cm pieces
100gsnow or sugar snap peas, sliced diagonally
1small red capsicum, thinly sliced
What to Do
Combine ¼ cup Praise Deli Style Honey and Dijon Mustard Vinaigrette in a small bowl with half of the prepared ginger. Season the steaks with salt and pepper and pour ginger vinaigrette mixture over and ensure steaks are completely covered. Marinate at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Toss spinach, celery, snow peas and capsicum with the remaining ginger and dress withhoney and Dijon vinaigrette to taste.
Heat BBQ or frypan on high heat and sear the marinated steaks for 3 minutes each side. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing and adding to salad before serving.
