BEEF & CHEESE BURGER


What You'll Need

  • 800g beef mince
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 8 slices of your favourite cheese
  • 1 small green oak or butter lettuce
  • 4 gherkins
  • 1 cup Praise Deli Style Burger Sauce
  • 4 burger buns
  • pickled red onion
  • 1 small red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar

What to Do

  1. To make the pickled onion place the sliced onion and vinegar into a bowl, ensure vinegar covers onion and set aside while preparing the beef patties.
  2. Place the beef, breadcrumbs and tomato sauce in a bowl. Mix well until combined. Divide beef mixture in four and shape into patties.
  3. Preheat a chargrill or barbecue over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes each side or until cooked through.
  4. Assemble your burger; add some burger sauce to both halves of buns. Add patty, more burger sauce and 2 slices of cheese. Top with sliced gherkins, lettuce, red onion and top bun.
