Beef Burger with Caramelised Onion Mayonnaise


What You'll Need

  • 800g beef mince
  • 1 brown onion, finely grated
  • 1 tbsp Holbrooks Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 rashers bacon
  • 4 ciabatta rolls, halved
  • Green oak lettuce or burger lettuce
  • Praise Deli Style Caramelised Onion Mayonnaise

What to Do

  1. Place beef, grated onion and Worcestershire in a large bowl and season. Mix well.
  2. Divide mince equally into 4. Wet hands and roll each portion into balls then flatten into patties.
  3. Heat BBQ grill on high and cook patties for 3-4 minutes each side, turning once. Remove patties and top with Swiss cheese and set aside. Grill bacon rashers and toast rolls.
  4. Top each bun base with lettuce, cheese topped beef pattie, bacon rasher and a good squeeze of Praise Deli Style Caramelised Onion Mayonnaise. Serve with pickles on the side.
